Mackenzy Murray- Guitar, Bass and Ukulele

Mackenzy is a long time Oklahoma Music Academy Student and current college student at Tulsa Community College. She began her musical journey with ukulele, then transitioned to guitar at the age of 13 and was self-taught until starting at OMA the next year. In her sophomore year of high school, she became the guitarist for the Jenks Show Choir Band, where for two years she played in concerts and competitions for Jenks Vocal Music. She is also in an all-female rock band, Lipgloss, which started at OMA.

For the past two years, Mackenzy has assisted and performed with the younger bands participating in Summer Jam. Mackenzy can improve skills and spark a passion for music in young or beginner musicians.
